Eric and Sandra Retire to Garden City, South CarolinaHave you wondered if you should retire to Garden City, South Carolina? Eric and Sandra did, and love it! While researching retirement on the Internet, they stumbled upon Jensen's Residential Communities, with locations from New England all the way down to the Deep South, including a community in Garden City, just South of Myrtle Beach. Jensen's are adult communities and this appealed to Eric and Sandra because they would be surrounded by people at the same stage in life with similar lifestyles and interests. During their next trip to Myrtle Beach, they checked out the Jensen's community in case they decided to retire to Garden City, South Carolina. They found that it is located just a couple of miles from the beach. Any restaurant you can imagine is no more than two miles away and there are shows, golf, fishing and shopping all within a ten mile radius. Yet, inside this quiet community, you would never know that all of this hustle and bustle is right there at your fingertips. They are glad they decided to retire to Garden City. Within the community there are many activities. There are two clubhouses and two pools, or you can just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of your surroundings. If you can't find something you like to do here then there is nothing you like to do. There is also a certain peace of mind that comes from knowing that if an emergency arises, you are surrounded by people who care enough to help. For their daughter, the author and creator of Tips to Organize Life, that is very comforting. Now, five years later, the decision to retire to Garden City, South Carolina is proving to be the best they have ever made. You, too, can enjoy the life you have been dreaming of. Just tell Jensen's that Eric and Sandra Glen sent you. ©2007 Eric and Sandra Glen Used by permission If you've already found your own best place to retire, tell us here.
