"Do people choose to retire in Williams Lake?" I asked the real estate agent across the desk from me.
"Well, my parents, did," she replied.

In their spare time, retirees join others in the community in service clubs, on the golf courses (one 18-hole and two nine-holes), in craft guilds, at the arena, or in the pool. People enjoy fishing, hunting, riding, bowling, curling, and cheering on the hockey team.
