Retire In Mill Bay on Vancouver IslandBy Tim Silvester Mill Bay is a 30 minute drive from the City of Victoria, along the picturesque Malahat Drive. The village of Mill Bay provides all the simple amenities at reasonable prices. The climate is "Mediterranean" with touches of West Coast mystery. Housing is appreciably less than South Island making it affordable. A major Medical facilities is 20 mins away with another within 1/2 hour. The highway is sometimes crowded but rarely a huge concern. This is my home now and here I'll stay.
