Inside Retirement Investigator Report
(IR) is the official newsletter for the retirement community members who use this Web site.
. . .no matter where you are.
- Find out the latest on retirement issues.
- Get the answers to your questions.
- Contribute answers to questions others are asking. . .
As long as you can access your e-mail, you can get Investigator Report.
No need to forward a hard copy magazine or newsletter. IR will follow you to Palm Springs, Mombasa, the library on your cruise ship, or the Internet Cafe at the coffee shop near your cabin.
Like everything related to The Retirement Investigaor, IR will keep your contact details in strictest confidence.
In fact, IR uses a double opt in service.
This means that you will be asked to verify your subscription. We don't want to send anything you don't want. Yes, there are some folk who sign up others for Internet material. IR's subscription system allows you to refuse the subscription if it wasn't your idea.
Once you subscribe, your e-mail address puts you into an automated system that sends only IR to you. Not even I see the address. (I can. But I have much better things to do with my time than to stare at e-mail addresses, things like tracking down all that information I'll be sending to you.)
I'm also asking for your first name. That's just so I can be friendly when I write to you. The name you enter will appear in the subject line of each issue of IR so you will know right away that the e-mail is from me and is not SPAM.
Any time you want to unsubscribe you can do so easily by clicking a link at the end of the e-mail. That will take you off the mailing list automatically, so it won't matter what I'm doing. I could even be having tea with the queen and your name would come off the list immediately.
Of course I hope that the information will be just what you need, so you'll be happy to read every issue and contribute when you can.
By the way, if you want to read the newsletter and contribute nothing, that's O.K., too. The silent travellers on the journey are important, too.
